2. Will I receive any textbooks with the e-learning courses?
All ICC Academy course materials are provided online through our Learning Management System (LMS). There are no textbooks included. However, inside the LMS you will find lots of supporting material such as course glossaries and study guides (for the EIC, CTFP, GTC and Incoterms® 2020 Certificate) that you can print and use offline.
In addition, we also offer a range of supporting eBooks that you can purchase separately to accompany your certificate or course. This combination of online, interactive course with a downloadable eBook provides the most comprehensive learning experience.
You can browse our full range of eBooks here: https://icc.academy/ebooks/
3. Do I need to choose which electives to take?
You will be able to select your elective courses once you register for the Global Trade Certificate (GTC) or Certified Trade Finance Professional (CTFP) programmes and login to your account. On completion of the ICC Academy professional certification programme, you can showcase your credentials in the following ways:
– Share your achievement on LinkedIn: Many of our alumni have posted their ‘Certificate of Completion’ or ‘Certificate of Achievement’ on LinkedIn. This is the best way to let your network know that you now have an industry-validated certification from the world business organization, the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC)
– Join our Alumni: We would strongly recommend that you join the ICC Academy Alumni Community. By completing the registration form, you will be listed as a confirmed ICC graduate, making it convenient to share your achievements with clients, colleagues, and prospective employers. This page is often visited by our alumni and, in some instances, HR and recruiting managers looking for qualified candidates for their teams.
– Update your email signature with a certified ICC Academy badge: To help you make your email signature stand out, we’ve created a specific ICC Academy badge (for the certificate you passed) that you can embed within your email signature. Here are instructions on how to add the badge to your email signature in Outlook and Gmail.
