If you are a customs or export professional, we have good news; the National Customs Brokers and Forwarders Association of America Inc (NCBFAA) has now accredited three ICC Academy certificates as part of their continuing education programme!
This means that graduates of our Incoterms® 2020 Certificate, Export/Import Certificate (EIC) and NVOCC Bill of Lading Certificate (NBL) can all earn credits towards maintaining NCBFAA qualifications in 2021.
Here are the full details:
- Export/Import Certificate (EIC) – graduates of the EIC are eligible for 15 credits towards maintaining the Certified Customs Specialist (CCS), Master Customs Specialist (MCS), Certified Export Specialist (CES) and Master Export Specialist (MES) qualifications.
- Incoterms® 2020 Certificate (INCO) – graduates of the INCO are eligible for 3 credits towards maintaining the Certified Customs Specialist (CCS), Master Customs Specialist (MCS), Certified Export Specialist (CES) and Master Export Specialist (MES) qualifications.
- NVOCC Bill of Lading Certificate (NBL) - graduates of the NBL are eligible for 2 credits towards maintaining the Certified Customs Specialist (CCS), Master Customs Specialist (MCS), Certified Export Specialist (CES) and Master Export Specialist (MES) qualifications.
Please note: only students who complete the EIC, INCO or NBL certifications between 1/1/2021 to 12/31/2021 are eligible for credits in 2021.
We hope this helps you to maintain or enhance your understanding of international trade and logistics.
