Singapore, 28 August: The ICC Academy is set to roll out an enhanced version of its international trade programme, the Export-Import Certificate (EIC) on 22 October. The upgraded edition ensures our programme promotes the most current research-based best practices for the benefit of our candidates in more than 60 countries.
The EIC was developed by Guillermo Jimenez, a leading trade expert and author of the best-seller ICC Guide to Export/Import: Global Standards for International Trade. Its curriculum focuses on the practical aspects surrounding global business management — from negotiating contracts to resolving cross-border disputes.
Our aim is to provide access to the latest trade knowledge and solutions to equip professionals with the specialised expertise required to successfully operate in today’s complex international environment. Reflecting on the development of the EIC programme, ICC Academy General Manager Daniel Kok said: “In this rapidly evolving global trading landscape, we strive to stay up-to-date with global export standards and strategies to ensure the best possible training. Bolstered by new innovations, the 2018 edition includes:
• timely content updates;
• an improved user experience;
• refreshed visuals and graphics;
• an integrated course glossary;
• a search function;
• a quiz-review dashboard;
• achievement badges and point system; and
• full optimisation for tablet and mobile use.
Built around five core e-courses, other additions to the EIC programme comprise four hours of new video lectures; 15 new case study videos to put learning into practice and 120 narrated animated videos to help break down complicated concepts.
Existing candidates already enlisted in the programme will automatically be provided with a complimentary upgrade, directly within our learning management platform. For those interested in enrolling, the complete EIC programme is US$699 and each individual e-course is available separately for US$150.
