1. I forgot my password, what can I do?

3. How can I access my courses?
After logging into our online platform, click on any of the courses available in your dashboard. You will then be redirected to your system homepage. From the top navigation bar, select “Active Courses” to launch your course(s).

4. I have completed a course, but the progress is not recorded on my dashboard. What can I do?
For GTC, EIC, EMA and NBL Programmes, and for the CTFP Course Managing Trade Products, you will achieve 100% in the courses by correctly answering +80% of the questions. You can track your progress in the Quiz Review Section. Please ensure that your browser does NOT automatically clear its cache. Remember that your progress might take up to an hour to update on your dashboard. You will find more information in every course page, but if you need additional help, please contact our Help Desk.
5. I am unable to launch a course, what do I do?
Please ensure that you are using the latest version of your browser and that pop-ups are enabled, this is very important. We highly recommend using chrome.
1. How long will I have to complete the e-learning courses/certification?
12 months. This timeframe includes the completion of the final exam for certificate bundles – Global Trade Certificate (GTC), Certified Trade Finance Professional (CTFP), Export & Import Certificate (EIC) and Ethical Marketing & Advertising (EMA). Individual courses do not include a final exam.
2. Will I receive any textbooks with the e-learning courses?
All ICC Academy course materials are provided online through our Learning Management System (LMS). There are no textbooks included. However, inside the LMS you will find lots of supporting material such as course glossaries and study guides (for the EIC, CTFP, GTC and Incoterms® 2020 Certificate) that you can print and use offline.
In addition, we also offer a range of supporting eBooks that you can purchase separately to accompany your certificate or course. This combination of online, interactive course with a downloadable eBook provides the most comprehensive learning experience.

3. Do I need to choose which electives to take?
You will be able to select your elective courses once you register for the Global Trade Certificate (GTC) or Certified Trade Finance Professional (CTFP) programmes and login to your account. Please note, once selected, you cannot change your electives. Even after the final exam, all your courses will remain available, until the end of your 12-month access period.
4. Does purchasing individual courses from the Global Trade Certificate (GTC), Certified Trade Finance Professional (CTFP) or Export & Import Certificate (EIC) programmes earn me an ICC Academy certificate?
The individual courses do not include a final exam and therefore cannot earn you an ICC Academy Certificate of Achievement. However, you will still get a certificate of completion, see question 5.
5. Does purchasing individual courses (GTC, CTFP or EIC) earn me a certificate of completion?
Yes, upon successful completion of an individual course, you will be issued a certificate of completion. This will not be available for our video series bundles.

7. How long will it take for me to complete the individual courses?
This depends on your prior understanding of the course material and pace of learning. On an average, the duration is as follows:

Global Trade Certificate (GTC) – 3-4 hours for individual courses. You must finish 9 courses to take the exam.

Certified Trade Finance Professional (CTFP) – 5-6 hours for individual courses. You must finish 9 courses to take the exam.

Export & Import Certificate (EIC) – 3 hours for individual courses. You must finish all 5 courses to take the exam.

Incoterms® 2020 Certificate (INCO) – 4 hour interactive course.

8. What is the minimum requirement to complete a full certification programme?
Before taking the final examination, you must complete the following:

Global Trade Certificate (GTC) – you must complete the 6 core courses and 3 electives.

Certified Trade Finance Professional (CTFP) – you must complete the 5 core courses and 4 electives.

Export/Import Certificate (EIC) – you must complete the 5 core courses.

Incoterms® 2020 Certificate (INCO) – you must complete the core course comprising 7 lessons.

Free Trade Agreement Certificate (FTAC) – you must complete the core course comprising 5 lessons.

9. Does ICC Academy have a membership model?
Not anymore! ICC Academy does not have a membership model, purchasing a programme will grant you access to our platform for 12 months, following your initial purchase.
10. But what happens after my 12-month access expires?
You will be granted access for 12-months to the courses/certification you have purchased. To extend your access by another 12 months, you will need to purchase an extension. Full details of how this works can be found in Extension Section of this FAQ.
11. Do you have an online course on Arbitration?
The ICC Academy does not currently have any courses on Arbitration. However, the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) offers training on this topic in a separate model: http://store.iccwbo.org/icc-arbitration-online-training
12. I registered for free access to the Ethical Marketing & Advertising (EMA) course, but haven’t received an email?
If you do not receive an email within 3 hours of signing up for the EMA course, kindly check your SPAM folder or email Helpdesk at helpdesk@iccacademy.com.sg
13. What kinds of qualifications should I have before taking up the advanced Certified Trade Finance Professional (CTFP)?
We recommend that you have at least +5 years of trade finance experience, or already certified via the ICC Academy’s Global Trade Certificate (GTC) or The London Institute of Banking and Finance’s (LIBF) CDCS, CSDG or CITF programmes.
14. How many credits do I need to recertify my ICC Academy certificate?

Global Trade Certificate (GTC) – 20 credits*

Certified Trade Finance Professional (CTFP) – 24 credits*
For all other certificates, there is no expiry date.
*NOTE: the required credits must be earned before the end of the 3-year period, following the completion of the Global Trade Certificate (GTC) or Certified Trade Finance Professional (CTFP) programmes.
15. How can I recertify my ICC Academy certificate?
There are two methods of earning the required number of recertification credits:
- Academic training (both through ICC Academy and 3rd parties)
- Events, workshops and seminars (including 3rd parties)

16. How many LIBF PDU/CPD points will I receive for my CDCS, CSDG?

17. I already have an LIBF certificate (CDCS/CSDG/CITF), but it has expired. Do I still qualify to enrol in the Certified Trade Finance Professional (CTFP) programme for LIBF holders?
Yes, but only if the expiration date of your LIBF certificate is still within 6 months of your Certified Trade Finance Professional (CTFP) registration.
18. Can I combine programmes I completed with the LIBF or the ICC Academy to gain an ICC Academy certificate – without taking your full programmes?
Not really, regardless of these certificates, all candidates must still complete our structured programme and take the final exam to receive the related certificates. However, visit our website for details about the special exemptions for existing LIBF and ICCA certificate holders.
19. How can I showcase my ICC Academy credentials?
On completion of the ICC Academy professional certification programme, you can showcase your credentials in the following ways:
– Share your achievement on LinkedIn: Many of our alumni have posted their ‘Certificate of Completion’ or ‘Certificate of Achievement’ on LinkedIn. This is the best way to let your network know that you now have an industry-validated certification from the world business organization, the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC)
– Join our Alumni: We would strongly recommend that you join the ICC Academy Alumni Community. By completing the registration form, you will be listed as a confirmed ICC graduate, making it convenient to share your achievements with clients, colleagues, and prospective employers. This page is often visited by our alumni and, in some instances, HR and recruiting managers looking for qualified candidates for their teams.
– Update your email signature with a certified ICC Academy badge: To help you make your email signature stand out, we’ve created a specific ICC Academy badge (for the certificate you passed) that you can embed within your email signature. Here are instructions on how to add the badge to your email signature in Outlook and Gmail.
20. Can I request a refund for my purchase?
Due to the immediate availability of our course content upon registration, ICC Academy has a strict no-refund policy for our courses and certifications. For more details, please refer to our Terms and Conditions.
1. When can I take the final exam?
The final exams can be taken at any time after you have completed the prerequisites. Remember, the final exams must be taken within the 12-month validity of your ICCA account.
Below are the prerequisites for the final exams:

Global Trade Certificate (GTC) – you must complete the 6 core courses and 3 electives.

Certified Trade Finance Professional (CTFP) – you must complete the 5 core courses and 4 electives.

Export/Import Certificate (EIC) – you must complete the 5 core courses.
- Microfinance Associate Certificate (MAC) – you must complete the 5 core courses.
All our other certifications are made up of just 1 core course. You must simply complete the core course to take the exam.
2. Can I schedule my final exam at any time?
Answer: After you have met the minimum prerequisites for your programme you can schedule your exam. If the exam is scheduled within the next 3 days, you will need to pay a US$5 express fee upon scheduling.

NOTE: Make sure you set your correct time zone in your account. Online exams are available 24/7 but must be completed within your account validity period (6-12 months depending on the programme).
3. What happens if I fail my exam?
When you purchase each certificate it includes one attempt at the final exam. If you fail, you will need to purchase a retake while your account is still active. The costs are as follows:
- USD$100 for GTC and CTFP Exam Retake (Each subsequent attempt – Up to 2 times)
- USD$60 for all other certificates Exam Retake (Each subsequent attempt – Up to 2 times)

4. Once I pass my final exam, how can I download my certificate?
For full certification programme (GTC, CTFP, EIC, NBL, EMA) – Once you pass your final exam, the ICC Academy Certificate can be downloaded from your Learning Management System dashboard (under the Learning Paths section)
For individual e-courses – Once you complete all lessons of the e-course, you can download the Certificate of Completion from your Learning Management System dashboard (under Completed Courses section). For individual e-courses, there is no final exam.
5. How does the exam work

1. How do I extend my account for another 12-months.
Here are the different options you have to extend your account depending on what scenario you are in:
Active Account Extension
If you have passed the exam simply want to extend your access to the learning materials for another 12 months, the cost is as follows.
- USD$200 for GTC and CTFP (Gives 12 months access to the course materials)
- USD$120 for all other certificates (Gives 12 months access to the course materials)
Expired Account Extension
If your account has expired you have a number of options:
- If you want to extend your access to the programme but have NOT previously attempted the exam the cost is as follows:
- USD $200 for GTC and CTFP (Gives 12 months access to the course materials and one-time exam attempt)
- USD $120 for all other certificates (Gives 12 months access to the course materials and one-time exam attempt)
- If you want to extend your access to the programme and have failed the exam previously then the cost is as follows:
- USD $200 + USD $100 (Exam Retake fee) for GTC and CTFP (Gives 12 months access to the course materials and one time exam attempt)
- USD $120 + USD $60 (Exam Retake fee) for all other certificates (Gives 12 months access to the course materials and one time exam attempt)
- If you have purchased a stand-alone course that has no exam then the cost is USD $50 (Gives 12 months access to the course materials)
Extensions on expired accounts must be purchased within 6 months of account expiry. After 6 months, candidates will have to repurchase the full programme.
Extensions on active accounts are valid for 12 months from the end of the original enrolment period. E.g. if you enrolled on the 1st January 2020 and purchase an extension while your account is active, the 12-month extension will start on 31 December 2020 regardless of when you purchase it.
Extensions on inactive accounts are valid for 12 months from the new on-boarding date
1. What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept both VISA and Mastercard credit/debit cards as well as Alipay for online transactions. We also have a Flywire account for American Express card holders.
2. Can I get a purchase order for my company to pay for the courses?
