Personnel whose day to day roles are involved in the preparation and processing of demand guarantee applications, amendments, and presentations of claims. These will be primarily those working in the Trade Services areas of international financial institutions. (There are no prerequisites)

Course description

CSDG® is a comprehensive course designed to enhance the knowledge and application skills of demand guarantee practitioners. It is achieved through private study primarily of a dedicated core text, the Guide to ICC Uniform Rules for Demand Guarantees URDG 758, the complementary Study Guide to the text and also relative ICC rules.

Demand guarantee types including tender, performance and advance payment; indemnities and suretyships; scope of industry rules including URDG 758; roles and obligations of all parties to demand guarantees; risks, controls and mitigation; impact of external factors.
