Who is Bob Ronai?
Bob Ronai was the first Australian and one of only three non-lawyers on the Incoterms® 2020 Drafting Group. He also manages the LinkedIn Incoterms® group with over twenty thousand members and was a member of the committee which wrote the “ICC Guide on Transport and the Incoterms® 2010 Rules”. He has just finished extensively updating this book for the 2020 rules.
There are very few people better qualified to teach you about the practical application of the Incoterms® rules.
What will the Masterclass cover?
This Masterclass has two parts: a live 2.5 hour Q&A session on 29 July and 10 pre-recorded video presentations from Bob Ronai on how to use the Incoterms® rules in the real world.
Here’s what each part of the Masterclass will cover.
Live Q&A – 29 July
During the Live Q&A session we will cover questions for each of the 11 rules in the Incoterms® 2020, one by one.
You will be able to submit your questions in advance, and we will gauge the most popular questions and manage time and expectations accordingly. We will also have our chat line open for further questions during the session and we will try to work through as many as we can.
We expect to allocate the first two hours to the any mode/s rules, working through from EXW to DDP, before covering the maritime rules in the last half hour.
In this session, Mr Ronai won’t just tell you what is in the Incoterms® 2020 book, but what each rule and article means and how it works in the real world – or maybe how it doesn’t work!
Video Presentations (pre-recorded)
Immediately after registering you will be sent the 10 pre-recorded video presentations (including slides), all prepared by our expert trainer Bob Ronai, on applying the Incoterms® 2020 in the real world. Total viewing time is 4.5 hours. We strongly encourage you to go through these videos ahead of the Q&A as it will help clarify your questions.

The practical applications of the rules in any number of circumstances are not usually discussed by trainers.
