Your purchase of the EIC allows one attempt at the exam. If required, a retake can be purchased for USD $60 if you are still within your 12-month access period by contacting our Help Desk at helpdesk@iccacademy.com.sg
The Export/Import Certificate (EIC) is the ICC's international trade certification. A strong interest in international trade is recommended and all candidates need to be able to read and write in English.
FULL EIC ENROLMENT: Your purchase includes 12 months to access all 5 EIC courses. You can access the lessons as many times as you like within the 12-month access period. Once you have completed all 5 courses, you will get access to the final exam.
STACK EIC COURSES: If you opt to 'stack up' EIC courses as you go then you will get 12 months access to each course from the date you purchase it. This means your access to each course will end on different dates. Please note that this may mean you do not have access to all courses when revising to take the EIC exam, depending on how quickly you complete the 5 required courses.
The EIC is accredited by the London Institute of Banking and Finance (LIBF), the Institute of Banking and Finance Singapore (IBF), The Bankers Association for Finance and Trade (BAFT) and the Global Trade Professionals Alliance (GTPA).
It is also now accredited by the National Customs Brokers & Forwarders Association of America, Inc's (NCBFAA) Educational Institute's (NEI) Continuing Education Program. Any CCS/MCS/CES/MES graduates who have taken the EIC from 1/1/2021 to 12/31/2021 are eligible to receive 15 credits in fulfilment of the credit requirement in maintaining CCS/MCS/CES/MES certification in 2021. You can contact Toni Sanders <tsanders@ncbfaa.org> directly with your certificate of completion to receive the credits.
Each of the 5 courses will take approximately 4 hours to complete depending on your level of experience. To qualify to take the exam you must complete all 5 courses.

STACK EIC COURSES
- One-year access to each course you purchase from the date of purchase. Over 5 courses this adds up to more than 20 hours of online learning over 22 lessons
- Interactive learning – over 200 assessment questions, 5 pre-assessment games and transaction flow diagrams to help you grasp key concepts easily and review the course material
- 16 case studies – we’ll show you how to apply what you learn to real-world scenarios
- Interactive learning –16 fully animated video examples and 250 assessment questions to help you grasp key concepts easily and review the course material
- 15 case studies – we’ll show you how to apply what you learn to real-world scenarios

- Please note that if you opt to stack EIC courses, access to each course will end at different times so you may not have access to all courses when revising to take the GTC exam, (depending on how quickly you complete the 5 required courses).
